Go Kindy Newcastle City is a state of the art early education centre located on Hunter St, Newcastle West. The first-of-its-kind education centre includes a multipurpose room for yoga and spacious classroom designs, dedicated art and craft zones in each room and digital check in and sign out system for parents and carers.
One of the higlights of the service is a 40-metre mural of Newcastle, designed and painted by local artist Mitch Revesky. Go Kindy Newcastle City's custom design playground allows functional play opportunities throughout the day, accommodating all types of weather and seasons.
The inner city location of the service gives access for excursions to local museums, harbor, tram, university & specialty stores.
The Go Kindy Newcastle City curriculum will include environmental and sustainability learning, music and movement and school readiness programs along with specialty services such as a speech pathologist and a behavioural expert.
The centre has a secure car park located at the bottom of the building for ease of picking up and dropping off children during peak hours in the city.

Cooking
Cooking is a beneficial activity for children, allowing them to develop social and life skills as they work together to create. Our cooking classes aim to develop the following:
- Language: Using communication skills to ask questions and read recipes.
- Fine Motor: Cracking eggs and whisking batter.
- Sensory: Developing taste, smells and touch.
- Math: Using measurement, time and calculation to create a dish.
- Focus: Concentrate on the recipe and instructions to ensure the dish is correct.
- Science: Filling measuring cups and exploring how different foods react when mixed.

Go School Link is focused on the learning outcomes defined in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Our educators regularly communicate with families about each childβs progress and school readiness. They provide information and support to families to assist them in making an informed decision about their childβs school transition.
