Cooking is a beneficial activity for children, allowing them to develop social and life skills as they work together to create. Our cooking classes aim to develop the following:

• Language: Using communication skills to ask questions and read recipes.
• Fine Motor: Cracking eggs and whisking batter.
• Sensory: Developing taste, smells and touch.
• Math: Using measurement, time and calculation to create a dish.
• Focus: Concentrate on the recipe and instructions to ensure the dish is correct.
• Science: Filling measuring cups and exploring how different foods react when mixed.

Children are given the opportunity to dance to age-appropriate music and learn songs and traditional orchestral scores. This promotes a strong sense of imagination while the children learn to work as a team, take turns, and follow directions. They use hand-held props and materials to help learn spatial awareness and increase gross motor skills. Connection with dance encourages your child to build confidence in expressing emotion in front of others through movement.

Go School Link is focused on the learning outcomes defined in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).  Our educators regularly communicate with families about each child’s progress and school readiness.  They provide information and support to families to assist them in making an informed decision about their child’s school transition. Go Kindy works in partnership with families and local schools in our communities to ensure each child has the best possible start to their schooling journey.

Go Literacy is a program designed to develop a strong foundation for literacy skills, teaching children about expression, vocabulary, sound, reading, writing and speaking. Research indicates that a child's language is highly influenced by the language they are exposed to. Go Literacy aims to immerse children in an environment full of books and academic opportunities to allow them to become successful learners, effective contributors and confident individuals.

IFA Sports provides a fun-focused, school age-appropriate program where children enjoy learning specific ball skills, agility, and sports such as soccer, basketball, AFL, Touch Football, and Athletics. Go Kindy has an IFA coach who visits each week to deliver their program.

Chirp & Roar promotes children's physical development and wellbeing through dynamic music sessions. Activities such as dancing to rhythmic beats and manipulating musical props not only enhance gross motor skills and spatial awareness but also encourages sensory integration and coordination. Our program actively supports children in becoming strong and confident movers.  Immersing children in a world of musical texts, fostering active listening, engagement, and interpretation of sounds and patterns within stories, rhymes, and songs. Through singing, chanting, and exploring diverse perspectives, children develop language comprehension and expressive skills, deriving rich meaning from varied textual forms within a musical context.
