Go Kindy Thornton located just off one of Thorntons busiest road, providing the local community and commuting families access to quality care and education. The centre itself features 7 spacious rooms and customised outdoor play areas, suitable for all ages.
Go Kindy Thornton aims to provide its families with a unique childcare experience. Features such as 2 dining rooms and custom build outdoor playgrounds have been incorporated into the centre’s design to achieve this goal.
Each room has been carefully created to allow passionate educators to create inspiring environments that offer a unique and authentic experience for every child. This can be accomplished as we hope to provide a warmth and homelike feel. We are also aspiring to become a sustainable centre and encourage the children to look after their environment.
As we open our new facility, our management team and educators look forward to working closely with local community businesses and schools. We also look forward to celebrating many calendar events together, such as BBQs, Morning teas, and Charity events.
Go Kindy’s team realises the importance of their role. They understand that your child has only one childhood, and they are committed to providing the best possible start.

Our spacious rooms and custom-designed outdoor areas are designed to spark curiosity and encourage exploration through play-based learning. We aim to provide a unique childcare experience, focused on your child’s development and well-being. Our dedicated service manager is also available to guide you through the enrollment process and answer any questions.
Cooking
Cooking is a beneficial activity for children, allowing them to develop social and life skills as they work together to create. Our cooking classes aim to develop the following:
- Language: Using communication skills to ask questions and read recipes.
- Fine Motor: Cracking eggs and whisking batter.
- Sensory: Developing taste, smells and touch.
- Math: Using measurement, time and calculation to create a dish.
- Focus: Concentrate on the recipe and instructions to ensure the dish is correct.
- Science: Filling measuring cups and exploring how different foods react when mixed.
Go School Link
Go School Link is focused on the learning outcomes defined in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Our educators regularly communicate with families about each child’s progress and school readiness. They provide information and support to families to assist them in making an informed decision about their child’s school transition. IFA Sports provides a fun-focused, school age-appropriate program where children enjoy learning specific ball skills, agility, and sports such as soccer, basketball, AFL, Touch Football, and Athletics. Go Kindy has an IFA coach who visits each week to deliver their program.

Calm Hearts Mindfulness partners with Go Kindy to deliver beautiful mindfulness-based programs. They are passionate about enhancing well-being, and we are committed to improving the mental health of our communities. They visit Go Kindy Services once per week each term, guiding children and teachers through mindfulness exercises. Their programs include Tricky Emotions, Resilient Minds, Friendships, and Positivity.

Chirp & Roar promotes children's physical development and wellbeing through dynamic music sessions.
